While Christy (Kirsten Dunst from Spider-Man and Jumanji) is in her bedroom, her dolls wake up. They tie Christy by the feet, which makes her fall.
Alan (Gregory Smith from The Patriot) receives a video. It’s Christy who is tied to a chair. She delivers a message from the figurines.

What’s the Small Soldiers movie about?
After military manufactured computer chips are put in a line of action figures, they end up with minds of their own.
Alan (Gregory Smith from The Patriot), a teenager, buys a set of these action figures. Of course, he is unaware that they have been programmed with military technology.
The toys, including leader Chip (Tommy Lee Jones from Men In Black and Jason Bourne), spring to life and start taking their directives seriously, beginning by “killing” their enemies, the toy Gorgonites. But the Gorgonites are determined to fight back.
Alan and his neighbor Christy (Kirsten Dunst from Spider-Man and Jumanji) – and crush – get caught in the middle of the war.
